RESOLUTION NO. 6,774
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TUTORIAL /WORK
EXPERIENCE. PROJECT THROUGH THE YOUTH
EMPLOYMENT TRAINING PROGRAM FOR CETA
ELIGIBLE YOUTH IN THE LITTLE ROCK SCHOOL
DISTRICT FOR A COST OF ONE HUNDRED SEVENTEEN
THOUSAND AND FIVE DOLLARS ($117,005.00);
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Little Rock CETA Prime Sponsor has
funds available through the Youth Employment Training
Program (Title IV YETP) to be used for tutorial assistance
for economically disadvantaged young people; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock School District has
submitted a proposal for operating a program to provide
tutorial assistance for disadvantaged high school students
in the Little Rock School District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. The Tutorial /Work Experience Project
through the Youth Employment Training Program for CETA
eligible youth in the Little Rock School District for a
cost of $117,005.00 is hereby approved.
Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full
force and effect from and after its adoption and approval.
