A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT THE BID FOR AN
ANNUAL CONTRACT FOR PARTS AND MAINTENANCE
SERVICES FOR THOSE VEHICLES OR EQUIPMENT
USING INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER PARTS AND
MATERIALS; AND, TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY
MANAGER TO AWARD THE CONTRACT THEREFOR,
AND TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO ACCOMPLISH
THAT PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, an annual contract for the purchase of parts
and maintenance services for those vehicles or equipment using
International Harvester parts and materials was submitted for
bids; and,

WHEREAS, Robinson International Truck, Inc. of Little Rock,
Arkansas, has submitted a bid for said contract; and the Little
Rock Department of Finance and Administration, Division of
Purchasing, has advised that the bidder is an only source vendor
and it has recommended that competitive bids be waived and that
the City accept the bid and to award the contract based upon
the written quotations and proposals of Robinson International
Truck, Inc., and,
WHEREAS, the annual contract for said service parts and
materials shall extend through December 31, 1983.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock shall accept the bid
submitted by Robinson International Truck, Inc., of Little Rock,
Arkansas, for the annual contract for purchase of parts and
maintenance services for those City vehicles or equipment which
use International Harvester parts and materials.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to award the said contract to Robinson International
Truck, Inc.; and the City Manager shall execute the contract on
behalf of the City of Little Rock; and, to do all things necessary
to accomplish that purpose.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
