A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ACQUIRE NEEDED PROPERTY FOR'THE.V.A. STREET
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO DONATE A PART OF A PARCEL LOCATED
ON SOUTH OAK STREET TO BE USED AS RIGHT -OF-
NAY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the V.A. Street Improvement Project will require
the acquisition of two houses and portions of other property for
new street right -of -way; and
1194EREAS, funds have already been appropriated by Ordinance
Number 14,128 to be used for the V.A. Street Improvement Project
which is a joint City and V.A. project.
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to acquire
one house and other required property to be used as right -of -way
for the V.A. Street Improvement Project.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to donate
a portion of a city -owned lot at 709 South Oak Street to be used
as right -of -way required for the V.A. Street Improvement Project.
Section 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and approval.
