RESOLUTION NO. 6,893
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED TO CONVEY THE
HARPER PROPERTY NEAR THE BLAKEMORE DITCH
PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, by error, property owned by Mr. and Mrs. Terry
Harper was inadvertently conveyed to the City in 1977 when
the City acquired a parcel of property associated with the
Blakemore Ditch Project; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors to
give a quitclaim deed to the Harper property with the
recognition that the property actually owned by the City will
not be affected by the quitclaim deed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
a quitclaim deed to clear title to the Harper property located
near the Blakemore Ditch Project.
Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption and approved.
