RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A RELEASE OF EASEMENT
ON LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL AIRPORT COMMISSION PROPERTY
WHEREAS, on or about the 30th day of April, 1959,
Kate G. Mammack and Vivion Lenon Brewer did grant to the
City of Little Rock, for the use and benefit of Little Rock
Sanitary Sewer Department, the right, privilege, power, and
authority to lay and construct one sewer main only and for
maintaining repairing, testing and inspecting same subject
to other conditions set forth in said easement upon the
following land situated in Pulaski County, Arkansas, more
particularly described as follows, said easement being filed
of record in the office of the Circuit Clerk of Pulaski
County, Book 8, Pages 280 and 281:
A 50 -foot wide strip of sanitary sewer easement
situated in the E 1/4, Section 7 and the SW 1/4,
NW 1/4 of Section 8, T -1 -N, R -11 -W, Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, the centerline of said
easement being more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at a chiseled "X" at the west quarter
corner of Section 8; thence S 00° 23' 00" E along
the common line between 7 and 8 for a distance of
483.41 feet to the northwesterly line of an
existing 50 -foot wide sanitary sewer easement;
thence S 26° 14' 21" W, 55.79 feet to the Point of
Beginning; thence N 00° 23' 00" W, 626.02 feet;
thence N 89° 17' 0011, 314.72 feet; the side lines
of the abandoned 50 -foot wide sanitary sewer
easement being lengthened or shortened to terminate
on the northwesterly line of an existing sanitary"
sewer easement containing 1.08 acres (47,045 S.F.),
more or less.
WHEREAS, the easement encumbering said property will no
longer be maintained by the City of Little Rock for the use and
benefit of the Little Rock Sanitary Sewer Committee;
and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of
Little Rock for the use and benefit of the Little Rock
Sanitary Sewer Committee to convey its right, title and
interest in and to said easement to the City of Little Rock
for the use and benefit of the Little Rock Municipal Airport
Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the
City of Little Rock for the use and benefit of the Little
Rock Sanitary Sewer Committee is hereby authorized to execute
an appropriate instrument conveying said easement to Little
Rock Municipal Airport Commission.
