A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
PARKS AND RECREATION, POLICE, FIRE, GENERAL SERVICES
AND PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENTS FOR THEIR EFFORTS IN
14AKING THE 1983 RIVERFEST AN OUTSTANDING SUCCESS.
WHEREAS, Riverfest 1983 was an outstanding success; and

WHEREAS, this success was in large measure directly due to the
efforts of the Little Rock Parks and Recreation, Police, Fire,
General Services and Public Works Departments, in supervising and
coordinating the services of the various agencies whose support made
possible this memorable event.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors, on behalf of the citizens
of Little Rock, hereby commends the Little Rock Parks and Recreation,
Police, Fire, General Services and Public Works Departments for
their efforts contributing to the outstanding success of Riverfest
1983.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
