RESOLUTION NO. 6,999
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING SUCCESSOR COMMISSIONER FOR
BROADMOOR RECREATIONAL AREA IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 2
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Broadmoor Recreational
Area Improvement District No. 2 of Little Rock, Arkansas, has reported:
1. That pursuant to the provisions in the petition for the
creation of the District, and in Section 3 of Ordinance No. 13510,
which created the District, which provides that the commissioners
of the District shall have the same terms of office as the Directors
of the Broadmoor Property Owners Association, and that the outgoing
directors of the Association shall resign each year as commissioners
of the District and the incoming Directors of the Association shall
be appointed as their successors on the Board of Commissioners,
the outgoing Director of the Association, JACK CRAWFORD, has resigned
as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the District to the
end that the successor commissioners will be appointed.
2. That Broadmoor Property Owners Association has elected
as a new member to its Board NEAL W. NEWELL, and the remaining
members of the Board of Commissioners of said District recommend
that he be appointed as Commissioner of said District to succeed
Jack Crawford.
3. That they have elected NEAL W. NEWELL as Chairman of
the Board of Commissioners.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, that:
1. NEAL W. NEWELL be and he is hereby appointed as a commis-
sioner of Broadmoor Recreational Area Improvement District No.
2 of Little Rock, Arkansas, to succeed Jack Crawford as member
of the Board, and he is directed to forthwith take his oath of
office and enter upon his duties as such commissioner.
