A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A CONTRACT FOR A TELE-
COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM FOR JTPA.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
accept the bid and award a contract to purchase CENTEL's Telrad
Key box as the new telecommunications system for JTPA for a total
price not to exceed $13,535.00 from the funds specified for such
purchase.

SUBJECT: Telecommunications system for JTPA
Board Action Recommended: Adopt resolution authorizing
City Manager to purchase Centel's Telrad Key box as the
new telecommunications system for JTPA.
BACKGROUND:
The City advertised for bids for a telecommunications
system for JTPA. Five vendors submitted proposals.
Integrated Communications Management, a consulting firm,
evaluated the five vendors on such factors as cost,
vendor history, service capabilities, equipment capacities,
and ease-of-use. ICM recommended Centel's Telrad Key box
be purchased at the price of $13,535.
