A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE
CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE DEEDS
FOR THE SALE OF CITY SURPLUS PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the City advertised certain surplus property
for sale and received acceptable bids on three parcels: 3000
Ringo, 1109 West 35th and 3105 Chester; and
WHEREAS, these three parcels are problem weed lots; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that these parcels
be sold and deeds be provided to the various buyers.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute deeds attached hereto as
Exhibits "A ", "B ", and "C" for the sale of 3000 Ringo to Freddie
and Vicki Lewis for Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00); for the sale
of 1109 West 35th to James and Lettece Lee for Three Thousand
Dollars ($3,000.00); and 3105 Chester to Viola Patterson for Five
Hundred Dollars ($500.00).

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, A MUNICIPAL
CORPORATION ORGANIZED AND EXISTING UNDER AND BY VIRTUE OF
THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS, GRANTOR, PURSUANT TO
RESOLUTION NO. 7,304 ADOPTED DECEMBER 12, 1984, BY THE
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS BOARD OF DIRECTORS, FOR AND IN
CONSIDERATION OF THE SUM OF FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS
($500.00), AND OTHER GOOD AND VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, THE
RECEIPT OF WHICH IS HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGED, DOES HEREBY GRANT,
BARGAIN, SELL AND CONVEY UNTO FREDDIE LEWIS AND VICKI LEWIS,
GRANTEES, AND UNTO THEIR HEIRS AND ASSIGNS FOREVER, THE
FOLLOWING DESCRIBED LANDS SITUATED IN THE COUNTY OF PULASKI,
STATE OF ARKANSAS, TO -WIT:
Lots 14, Block 26, Braddock's Boulevard Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
The conveyance is subject to all covenants, easements
and restrictions of record.
As a part of the consideration, the grantor reserves
unto itself a perpetual easement running 5 feet on both
sides of the existing covered drainage ditch crossing
the described property from the Northwest to the
Southeast. No buildings will be permitted on this
easement or on the said drainage ditch. This covenant
shall run with the land.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD THE SAME UNTO THE SAID GRANTEE AND
UNTO THEIR HEIRS AND ASSIGNS FOREVER WITH ALL THE
APPURTENANCES THEREUNTO BELONGING.
THE GRANTOR HEREBY COVENANTS WITH SAID GRANTEE THAT IT
WILL FOREVER WARRANT AND DEFEND THE TITLE TO THE SAID LANDS
AGAINST ALL CLAIMS AND ENCUMBRANCES DONE OR SUFFERED BY IT,
BUT AGAINST NONE OTHER.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, THE NAME OF THE GRANTOR IS HEREUNTO
