HomeMy WebLinkAbout7304RESOLUTION NO. 7,304 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE DEEDS FOR THE SALE OF CITY SURPLUS PROPERTY. WHEREAS, the City advertised certain surplus property for sale and received acceptable bids on three parcels: 3000 Ringo, 1109 West 35th and 3105 Chester; and WHEREAS, these three parcels are problem weed lots; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that these parcels be sold and deeds be provided to the various buyers. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute deeds attached hereto as Exhibits "A ", "B ", and "C" for the sale of 3000 Ringo to Freddie and Vicki Lewis for Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00); for the sale of 1109 West 35th to James and Lettece Lee for Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00); and 3105 Chester to Viola Patterson for Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00). As a part of the consideration, the grantor reserves unto itself a perpetual easement running 5 feet on both sides of the existing covered drainage ditch crossing the described property from the Northwest to the Southeast. No buildings will be permitted on this easement or on the said drainage ditch. This covenant shall run with the land. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD THE SAME UNTO THE SAID GRANTEE AND UNTO THEIR HEIRS AND ASSIGNS FOREVER WITH ALL THE APPURTENANCES THEREUNTO BELONGING.
