A RESOLUTION APPROVING A TRADE OF LAND AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE A DEED FOR THE TRADE OF LAND WITH
GRANITE MOUNTAIN QUARRIES FOR LAND FOR THE
FOURCHE DRAINAGE PROJECT -PLAN 7.
WHEREAS, Granite Mountain Quarries has sixty (60) plus
acres in the Fourche Bottoms needed for the Fourche Drainage
Project -Plan 7; and
WHEREAS, these sixty (60) plus acres are vitally needed
for this plan; and
WHEREAS, there are approximately twelve (12) acres of
land at the south part of Gillam Park that are not included in the
Master Parks Plan, that are not essential to the Gillam Park
facility.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to execute a deed trading the land
located at the south part of Gillam Park that is not included
in the Master Parks Plan consisting of twelve (12) acres to Granite
Mountain Quarries for sixty (60) plus acres in the Fourche Bottoms,
ADOPTED: October 2, 1984
