RESOLUTION NO. 7,483
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING JANET BUFORD FOR
HER OUTSTANDING SERVICE ON THE CENTRAL
ARKANSAS TRANSIT BOARD.
WHEREAS, Janet Buford has loyally, and faithfully served
on the Transit Policy Board for over eight years; and
WHEREAS, during much of that time she served as Chairman
of the Transit Policy Board; and
WHEREAS, in that capacity she serves on the Board of
Directors of the Southwest Transit Association, and has become an
outspoken advocate on mass transit issues at both a regional and
national level.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors on behalf of the
citizens of Little Rock, wishes to express its thanks and
appreciation to Janet Buford for her tireless and unselfish
dedication to the Transit Policy Board and for her efforts to
improve the quality of service provided by Central Arkansas
Transit during her tenure on the Board.
