A RESOLUTION COMMENDING MICHAEL WARREN ROBINSON
OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS.

WHEREAS, Michael Warren Robinson has served as an employee
of the City of Little Rock for sixteen years and is presently
Chief of the Sanitation Collection Section for the Department of
Public Works; and
WHEREAS, in that capacity, he devised and implemented a
four -day workweek program for sanitation employees; and
WHEREAS, this program has enabled the City of Little Rock to
expand sanitation services to about 3,000 additional homes
without additional equipment; and
WHEREAS, this program will result in a recurring annual
savings of about 6490,000 to the City of Little Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Little Rock City Board of Directors hereby
commends Michael Warren Robinson for his outstanding performance
as an employee of the Department of Public Works, and recognizes
him for his creativity in furthering the efficiency of the
Santitation Collection Section.
