6 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF

8 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
9 SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the City of Little
10
Rock hereby approve the preliminary two -year job training plan
11
12 for the program year 1986 -1987.
13 ADOPTED: March 18, 1986

SUBJECT: Preliminary Job Training Plan
BOARD ACTION RECOMMENDED: Approval of the Preliminary
Two -Year Job Training Plan under the Job Training
Partnership Act.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: In accordance with Public Law
97-300, which provides for employment and training
activities and services under the Job Training Partnership
Act (JTPA), the Little Rock Private Industry Council is
recommending Board approval of the Preliminary Two -Year Job
Training Plan for program years 1986 -87.
This preliminary plan is being submitted to the Governor's
Administrative Entity. The effective date is for the period
beginning July 1, 1986, through June 30, 1988. Activities
and services under this plan will include, but not be
limited to, public and private on- the -job training,
classroom training and a combination of both.
