RESOLUTION NO. 7,625
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING MR. WILLIAM D. GEORGE,
RETIRING DIRECTOR OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS FOR TWENTY -
FOUR YEARS OF PUBLIC SERVICE.
WHEREAS, Mr. William D. George, Executive Director of
the Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
retired on June 30, 1986, after twenty -four years of
dedicated public service to the citizens of the City of
Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, Mr. George has been Executive Director of the
Housing Authority for the last eight years and has performed
his duties in a diplomatic, gentlemanly and fair, yet firm
manner; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Board of Directors wishes to
express its thanks and gratitude to Mr. George on behalf of
the citizens of the City of Little Rock for the outstanding
and exemplary service that he has rendered to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY.THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Little Rock Board of Directors hereby
congratulates Mr. William D. George upon his retirement
after twenty -four years of service with the Housing
Authority of the City of Little Rock and hereby expresses
its thanks and deep appreciation to him for his long tenure
of dedicated public service.
