RESOLUTION NO. 11,794
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO A GOVERNMENTAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH
PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF
PROVIDING ANIMAL SERVICES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock ( "City") operates and administers an animal
services facility in order to shelter, care, maintain, and dispose of stray and unwanted
dogs and cats located within the City's corporate limits, and
WHEREAS, Pulaski County, Arkansas ( "County") contracted with the City for
shelter services from January 1, 2004, through June 30, 2004, and has requested that the
City allow continued access to such services for an agreed upon fee, and
WHEREAS, the City currently has the capacity at its animal services facilities to
provide such services to the County for an additional six months.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a Governmental
Services Agreement with the County in order to provide animal services for six (6)
months under the terms and conditions set forth in the Agreement.
Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
resolution.

Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions inconsistent with this
resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
