A RESOLUTION AWARDING A TESTING
SERVICES CONTRACT TO GRUBBS HOSKYN,
BARTON & WYATT, INC. FOR BID PRICE
TESTING SERVICES FOR THE 2004 BOND
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, concrete, asphalt, and soils /aggregate testing is needed for the 2004 Bond
Capital Improvement Program street reconstruction, traffic signal & intersection
improvement, drainage improvement and school area pedestrian safety through
December 31, 2004, and
WHEREAS, Funding for the project is available from funds from the 2004 Bond Issue
(e.g., 315- 220 -DP, 318- 220 -SW, 314- 220 -SR, 314- 220 -TS, 314- 220 -11), and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock received testing services unit price proposals (bid
number 04 -4248) and Grubbs, Hoskyn, Barton, & Wyatt was the qualified selected
bidder for services as needed to December 31, 2004.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract and execute a
testing services agreement with Grubbs, Hoskyn, Barton & Wyatt, Inc. to provide testing
services , at locations as required and requested, for designated unit prices, for all three
categories of concrete, asphalt and soils /aggregate testing through December 31, 2004.
SECTION 2. Funding for the project is available from 2004 Bond Issue (e.g., 315-220 -
DP, 318- 220 -SW, 314- 220 -SR, 314 - 220 -TS, 314- 220 -II).
SECTION 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
adoption.
