FOR TRAFFIC SIGNALIZATION OF FOUR 5 LOCATIONS WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLER ROCK; AND FOR 6 OTHER PURPOSES. r 8 WHEREAS, Traffic Signal Warrants have been met at the intersections of 9 Aldersgate Road at Kanis Road, Hughes Street at Markham Street, Hughes Street at 121h 10 Street, and West Park Drive at 12'h Street, and 11 WHEREAS, citizens of the City of Little Rock voted to fund these traffic 12 signalization projects in the 2004 Bond Issue, and 13 WHEREAS, L.E.G. Enterprises, Inc. submitted the lowest bid meeting 14 specifications under Bid No. 04 -249. 15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 17 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract and 18 execute an agreement with L.E.G. Enterprises, Inc. in an amount not to exceed 19 $396,432.00 ($360,392.85 plus 10% contingency) for the construction of traffic signals at 20 four locations within the City of Little Rock. 21 Section 2. Funding for the project is available from 2004 Bond Issue funds with 22 an additional $30,000.00 contribution from the Lutheran Church and School. 23 Section 3. Severabitity. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, 24 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or 25 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining 26 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 8 • declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution. Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
