RESOLUTION NO. 11,749
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
DONATION DEED FOR THE JUNCTION BRIDGE TO THE PULASKI
COUNTY BRIDGE PUBLIC FACILITIES BOARD; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock acquired the Little Rock Junction Railroad
Bridge from the Union Pacific Railroad as part of a transaction that occurred on or
about December 27, 2001, and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to participate with the Pulaski County Bridge
Facilities Board in the development of this bridge as part of overall projects to enhance
the downtown communities of Little Rock, North Little Rock, and Pulaski County, and
WHEREAS, to facilitate this involvement the City wishes to donate its interest in
the Junction Bridge to the Pulaski County Bridge Facilities Board,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute a donation deed in a
19 form approved by the City Attorney to donate the Little Rock Junction Railroad Bridge
20 to the Pulaski County Bridge Facilities Board.
21 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item,
22 sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid
23 or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
24 portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
25 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
26 ordinance.

I Section 7. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions, inconsistent with this
2 resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
