HomeMy WebLinkAbout117020 0 2 RESOLUTION NO. 11,702 0 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER 4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH SCHULER & SHOOK INCORPORATED 5 FOR THEATRICAL STAGE CONSULTANT SERVICES; AND FOR 6 OTHER PURPOSES. 7 8 WHEREAS, the voters of Little Rock approved a Seventy Million, Six Hundred 9 Thirty-five Thousand Dollar ($70,635,000) Limited Obligation Capital Improvement 10 Bond Issue (Series 2004) at an election held on November 4, 2003, and 11 WHEREAS, the ballot listed projects to be funded with proceeds of the bonds to 12 be issued which included Robinson Center Music Hall improvements, and 13 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid was issued for theatrical stage consulting 14 services in connection with the stage rigging equipment renovation and the 15 Commission accepted the bid of Schuler & Shook in the amount of Forty Thousand, 16 Five Hundred and no /100 Dollars ($40,500.00) for such services, and 17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 18 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 19 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter 20 into a contract with Schuler & Shook Incorporated, Arlington, Texas, for consulting 21 services related to stage renovations at Robinson Center Music Hall in the amount of 22 Forty Thousand, Five Hundred and no /100 Dollars ($40,500.00). 23 Section 2. Funds for these services are to be allocated from the $70,635,000 24 Limited Obligation Capital Improvement Bond Issue (Series 2004). 25 [PAGE 1 OF 21 Resolution To authorize contract for consulting services for stage renovations at Robinson Center Music Hall 0 0 1 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, 2 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or 3 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining 4 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so 5 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the 6 resolution. 7 Section 4. Repealer.
