A RESOLUTION TO SET JANUARY 20, 2004, AS THE DATE
OF HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON THE
RIGHT -OF -WAY WITHIN THE HEIFER INTERNATIONAL
PROPERTY FOR SHALL STREET AND INDUSTRIAL DRIVE,
WIGGIN'S AND YONLEY ADDITION, IN THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the
Board of Directors vacate and abandon, pursuant to its general police power authority
under Ark. Code Ann. §14 -54 -104, the right -of -way within the Heifer International
property for Shall Street and Industrial Drive, located in Wiggiri s and Yonley Addition,
in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned
18 right -of -way shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little
19 Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 20th day of January, 2004.
20 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in
21 the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in

22 a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having,a- genecaf,&rgilation
23 in the City of Little Rock.

NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE OF HEARING TO BE HELD BY THE LITTLE ROCK BOARD OF
DIRECTORS ON A PETITION TO ABANDON THE RIGHT -OF -WAY WITHIN THE
HEIFER INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY FOR SHALL STREET AND INDUSTRIAL
DRIVE, WIGGIN'S AND YONLEY ADDITION, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Notice is hereby given that on, January 20th 2004 at 6 PM, in the Chamber of the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Second Floor, City Hall, Markham and Broadway Streets,
the Little Rock Board of Directors will hold a public hearing on whether to vacate and abandon,
pursuant to its general police power authority under Arkansas Code Ann. 14 -54 -104, the right -
of -way within the Heifer Int3rnatioanl property for Shall Street and Industrial Drive, located in
Wiggin's and Yonley Addition, in the City of little Rock, Arkansas.
All parties may be heard at the time and place of said meeting.
