3 A RESOLUTION TO SET JANUARY 20, 2004, AS THE DATE
4 OF HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON THE
5 UNDEVELOPED HANGER STREET RIGHT -OF -WAY
6 ADJACENT TO LOTS 7 THROUGH 12, BLOCK 2, HANGER'S
7 ADDITION, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR
8 OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the
11 Board of Directors vacate and abandon, pursuant to its general police power authority
12 under Ark. Code Ann. X14 -54 -104, the undeveloped Hanger Street right -of -way adjacent
13 to Lots 7 through 12, Block 2, Hanger's Addition, North of East 9th Street, in the City of
14 Little Rock, Arkansas, retaining the utility and drainage easement.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
16 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned
18 right -of -way shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little
19 Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 20th day of January, 2004.
20 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in
21 the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in
22 a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation

NOTICE OF HEARING
NOTICE OF HEARING TO BE HELD BY THE LITTLE ROCK BOARD OF
DIRECTORS ON A PETITION TO ABANDON THE UNDEVELOPED HANGER
STREET RIGHT -OF -WAY ADJACENT TO LOTS 7 THROUGH 12 BLOCK 2
HANGER ADDITION, NORTH OF EAST I -9r" STREET BUT BE RETAINED AS A
UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT.
Notice is hereby given that on, January 20th 2004 at 6 PM, in the Chamber of the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Second Floor, City Hall, Markham and Broadway Streets,
the Little Rock Board of Directors will hold a public hearing on whether to vacate and abandon,
pursuant to its general police power authority under Arkansas Code Ann. 14 -54 -104, the
underdeveloped Hanger Street right -of -way adjacent to Lots 7 through 12, Block 2, Hanger's
Addition, North of East 9th Street, in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, retaining the utility and
drainage easement.
All parties may be heard at the time and place of said meeting.
