3 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO BARTLETT &
4 WEST ENGINEERS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR
5 SCOTT HAMILTON DRIVE FROM BASELINE ROAD TO J.E.
6 DAVIS DRIVE

8 WHEREAS, Improvements are needed on Scott Hamilton Drive to improve
9 safety, traffic flow and enhance pedestrian access, and
10 WHEREAS, Bartlett & West Engineers was selected through a Request for
11 Qualifications process to provide engineering services for the project.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
13 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract and
15 execute an agreement with Bartlett & West Engineers for engineering services on Scott
16 Hamilton Drive (Baseline Road to J.E. Davis Drive).
17 Section 2. Funding for the project is available from 304 - 220 -Z009. Amount for c
18 Engineering Services: $228,092.19 ($207,356.54 plus 10% contingencies).
19 Section 3. Severability. In the event any portion of this resolution is declared or
20 adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not
21 affect the remaining portions of this resolution, which shall remain in full force and
22 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
23 originally a part of this resolution.
24 Section 4. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions, and parts thereof, which
25 are ini conflict with any provision of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of
26 such conflict.
