A RESOLUTION AWARDING A
CONTRACT TO ETC
CONSTRUCTION FOR
STREETSCAPING IMPROVEMENTS
ALONG MARKHAM STREET
WHEREAS, Streetscaping and sidewalk improvements are needed along the south side
of Markham Street from Cumberland Street to Main Street to improve pedestrian access,
AND, ETC Construction submitted the lowest bid meeting specifications. Bid number
03 -244.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract and execute an
agreement with ETC Construction in an amount not to exceed $164,890.00 ($149,900.00
plus 10% contingency) for the construction of Streetscaping improvements on Markham
Street from Cumberland Street to Main Street.
SECTION 2. Funding for the project is available from a Federal Highway
Administration grant through the Central Arkansas Transit Authority.
SECTION 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
adoption.
