A RESOLUTION AWARDING A
CONTRACT TO PLANIT DIRT FOR
SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS
ALONG MALLOY STREET
WHEREAS, sidewalk improvements are needed along the east side of Malloy Street
from 401h Street to 36`h Street to improve pedestrian access,
AND, Planit Dirt submitted the lowest bid meeting specifications. Bid number 03 -243.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract and execute an
agreement with Planit Dirt in an amount not to exceed $62,873.25 ($57,157.50 plus 10%
contingency) for the construction of sidewalk improvements on Malloy Street from 40`h
Street to 36` Street.
SECTION 2. Funding for the project is available from Community Development Block
Grant Program.
SECTION 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
adoption.
