RESOLUTION NO. 11,347
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT TO GENE
SUMMERS CONSTRUCTION, INCORPORATED FOR
IMPROVEMENTS TO 40Trl STREET
WHEREAS, Improvements are needed on 40'' Street from Katherine Street to Whitfield Street to
improve safety, traffic flow and enhance pedestrian access,
AND, Gene Summers Construction, Inc. submitted the lowest bid meeting specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract and execute an agreement
with Gene Summers Construction, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $143,837 ($130,760.68 plus 10%
contingencies) for the construction of improvements to 40th Street.
SECTION 2. Funding for the project is available from CDBG- C25 -A352
SECTION 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
