3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A CONTRACT WITH ALL SEASONS ROOFING,
4 INC., TO SUPPLY MATERIAL AND RE -ROOF CITY HALL; AND FOR OTHER
5 PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, the roof on City Hall experiences numerous leaks when it rains, so it is
s necessary to repair these leaks and re -roof the structure, and
9 WHEREAS, after a competitive bid pursuant to RFP 02210 issued on January 30,
10 2002, and opened on February 27, 2002, with two qualified responses, it was determined
It(-- that All Seasons Roofing, Inc., had provided the lowest responsible and responsive bid,
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
13 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
14 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with All
15 Seasons Roofing, Inc., of Little Rock, Arkansas, in an amount not to exceed sixty two
16 thousand six hundred and fifty-five dollars ($62,655.00).
17 Section 2. Funds for this contract are available from Account No. 105 - 220 -T020.
18 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
19 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
20 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions
21 of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or
22 adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
23 Section 4. Repealer. All resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with
24 this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
