HomeMy WebLinkAbout112030 0 1 RESOLUTION NO. 11, 203 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A CONTRACT WITH SUPERIOR 4 PROTECTION TO PROVIDE SECURITY SERVICES FOR THE 5 DISTRICT COURTS BUILDING; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. 6 7 WHEREAS, the City has utilized an electronic card system as part of the security 8 measures to control access nto the District Courts building and, 9 WHEREAS, after publication of a request for proposals in bid number C0141 it was 10 determined that Superior Protection provided the lowest responsible and responsive bid 11 of the six bids submitted, 12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 13 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 14 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with 15 Superior Protection in an amount not to exceed fifty thousand four hundred and sixty 16 dollars ($50,460.00) to pay the cost of security protection for the Little Rock District Courts 17 Building, the figure to be determined by the hourly rate of $10.46 per hour. 18 Section 2. Funds for this contract are available in Account No. 100 - 060 -1053- 19 6081(99). 20 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, 21 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or 22 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions 23 of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or 24 adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
