RESOLUTION NO. 11,198
A RESOLUTION TO RENEW 100 TAXICAB OPERATORS
PERMITS FOR PULASKI COUNTY TRANSPORTATION
SERVICES, LLC, FOR THE PERIOD FROM JANUARY 1, 2002 TO
DECEMBER 31,2002; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors approved the transfer of 100 taxicab
operator permits from Capitol Cab Company, operating as Capitol Cab or as
Veteran's Cab, to a new company as a new franchisee known as Pulaski County
Transportation Services, LLC, ( "PCTS ") in Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No.
11,114 (August 28, 2001), and
WHEREAS, PCTS has properly applied for renewal of these permits for
the year 2002, and has established that it is properly insured and in compliance
with the City Transportation Code,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. PCTS is granted a renewal for 100 taxicab operator permits for
the period from January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2002, to be operated under the
names Capitol Cab Company or Veteran's Cab Company.
Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item,
sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be
invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the
remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as

1 if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not
2 originally a part of the resolution.
3 Section 3. Repealer. All resolutions, bylaws, and other matters
4 inconsistent with this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such
s inconsistency.
