3 A RESOLUTION TO RENEW A TAXICAB OPERATOR
4 PERMIT FOR DEWEY WORTHY OR THE PERIOD FROM
s JANUARY 1, 2002 TO DECEMBER 31, 2002; AND FOR
6 OTHER PURPOSES.

s WHEREAS, the Board of Directors approved a taxicab operator permit for
9 Dewey Worthy in Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. (December, 2001), and
10 WHEREAS, Mr. Worthy has properly applied for renewal of this permits
11 for the year 2002, and has established that he is properly insured and in compliance
12 with the City Transportation Code,
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
14 DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. Dewey Worthy is granted a renewal of one taxicab operator
16 permit for the period from January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2002, to be operate as
17 an independent taxicab operator.
18 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item,
19 sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be
20 invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the
21 remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if
22 the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a
23 part of the resolution.
24 Section 3. Repealer. All resolutions, bylaws, and other matters
25 inconsistent with this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such
26 inconsistency.
