A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT TO GENE
SUMMERS CONSTRUCTION FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION
OF ROADWAYS IN RESERVOIR PARK
WHEREAS, the ice storms of December 2000 caused heavy damage within the City of Little Rock
and roadways in Reservoir Park was sustained damage from clean up operations, and
WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency has provided funds for the clean up and
restoration of damage following the storms.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to award a contract and execute an agreement
with Gene Summers Construction in an amount not to exceed $87,458.00 ($79,507.50 plus 10%
contingencies) for the construction of Reservoir Park roadway reconstruction.
SECTION 2. Funding for the project is available from 700 111 B019 STRT 6081(99)
SECTION 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
