3 A RESOLUTION TO COMMEND THE CITY OF NORTH LITTLE ROCK,
4 ARKANSAS, FOR ITS AGREEMENT TO CONTRACT WITH THE GREATER
5 LITTLE ROCK CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT;
6 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the Greater Little Rock Chamber of Commerce ( "GLRCC ") is involved in intensive
9 efforts to support economic development in the central Arkansas region, and
10 WHEREAS, Mayor Patrick Henry Hays of North Little Rock has recently agreed to contract with
11 GLRCC to enhance these services in such a manner as to provide positive development opportunities for the
12 cities in the central Arkansas region, and to use these contractual monies in conjunction with other monies
13 available to the Chamber including, but not limited to, the various contracts with the City of Little Rock,
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
15 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The Board expresses its appreciation to Mayor Hays and the North Little Rock City
17 Council for its commitment to economic development in the central Arkansas area as demonstrated by the
18 recent decision to contract with GLRCC in the amount of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to
19 promote such development.
