3 A RESOLUTION TO REVERSE THE ACTION OF THE LITTLE ROCK
4 PLANNING COMMISSION AND TO ABANDON ALLEY RIGHT- OF-WAY
5 BETWEEN ARCH STREET AND GAINES STREET IN BLOCK 125,
6 ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER
7 PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission ( "Commission') reviewed a request
Io to abandon certain alley right -of -way between Arch Street and Gaines Street, and after
11 consideration of the various issues voted to deny this abandonment, and
12 WHEREAS, a timely appeal from that decision was filed, and the Little Rock Board of
13 Directors set, advertised and conducted a public hearing on the appeal of the Commission's
14 action, and after such a hearing the Board decided that the alley right -of -way should be
15 abandoned,
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
17 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The decision of the Little Rock Planning Commission to deny a request to
19 abandon alley right -of -way between Arch and Gaines Street in Block 125 of the Original City of Little
20 Rock, Arkansas, is hereby reversed, and the alley right -of -way shall be abandoned subject to any
21 necessary utility or emergency services easements.
