A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS AND
REAPPPOINTENTS TO THE BOARD OF
ADJUSTMENT, CENTRAL ARKANSAS TRANSIT
AUTHORITY, COMMISSION ON DOMESTIC
VIOLENCE, COMMUNITY HOUSING ADVISORY
BOARD, MCARTHUR MUSEUM OF .MILITARY
HISTORY COMMISSION, OAKLAND FRATERNAL
CEMETERY BOARD, AND RACIAL & CULTURAL
DIVERSITY COMMISSION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The following named persons are hereby appointed or reappointed
as members of the respective Boards and Commissions:
(a) BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
Mr. Andrew Francis, appointed to the unexpired term of Mr. Norman Floyd, said
term expiring February 4, 2002.
(b) CENTRAL ARKANSAS TRANSIT AUTHORITY
Mr. Cy Carney, reappointed to serve a four year term, expiring August 26, 2005.
Mr. Jerry Paul, appointed to serve until a permanent Finance Director is selected
for the City of Little Rock.
(c) COMMISSION ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Ms. Lori Barksdale, (Atlarge) appointed to serve the unexpired term of Ms. Laima
Smith, said term expiring November 3, 2003.
(d) COMMUNITY HOUSING ADVISORY BOARD
Ms. Jane Gring, (Atlarge) appointed to serve a three year term replacing Mr.
Howard Hanson, term expiring June 2, 2004.
(e) MCARTHUR MUSEUM OF MILITARY HISTORY COMMISSION
Mr. Larry Garner, reinstated to completed term expiring February 21, 2002.

Mr. Wassell Turner, appointed to serve the unexpired term of Mr. Curtis Sykes,
said term expiring February 21, 2004.
OAKLAND FRATERNAL CEMETERY BOARD
The following individuals are hereby appointed to serve three year terms, expiring
June 1, 2004:

Mr. Harry Hamner
Ms. Ivory Roper
Ms. Holly Paynter
Reiplacine
Mr. Morris Parker
Ms. Barbara Rogers
Ms. Elizabeth Roper
Mr. Jerome Hamner
RACIAL & CULTURAL DIVERSITY COMMISSION
Mr. Don Damell,(atlarge) appointed to serve a three year term expiring March 3,
2004.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in fiill force and effect from and after its
adoption.
