3 A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE NAME OF A PORTION OF
4 "WATER WORKS DRIVE" EXTENDING INTO JUNIOR
5 DEPUTY BASEBALL CENTER TO "WINSTON FAULKNER
6 ROAD"; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, Little Rock Municipal Water Works ( "LRMW W ") submitted a petition to change
9 the name of a portion of Water Works Drive, a private street that serves Junior Deputy Baseball Center at
10 2500 Cantrell Road to Winston Faulkner Road, and
I I WHEREAS, LRMW W is the only property owner affected by the name change as it owns the
12 property on both sides of the street to be renamed, and
13 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed this request at a public hearing on May 3, 2001,
14 and recommended approval of the name change, and
15 WHEREAS, changing the name of the street to Winston Faulkner Road is requested to honor a
16 former Water Works Commissioner, Winston Faulkner, and
17 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors deems it appropriate to change the name as requested.
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
19 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The name of that portion of Water Works Drive which serves Junior Deputy Baseball
21 Center at 2500 Cantrell Road is hereby changed to "Winston Faulkner Road ".
22 Section 2. The information concerning this street name change is located in Planning File G -25-
23 181.
24 Section 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and the City
25 Manager is hereby directed to notify all departments of said change.
