A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE WILLINGNESS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO UTILIZE FEDERAL -AID
MONIES FOR A PRELIMINARY STUDY FOR
IMPROVEMENTS TO ASHER AVENUE, UNIVERSITY
AVENUE TO ROOSEVELT ROAD
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock understands Federal Aid Transportation Program Attributable
funds are available for certain city projects at the following federal participating ratios: Federal Share
80% - City Match 20 %.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City will participate in accordance with its designated responsibilities in this
project.
SECTION 2. The City Manager or his designated representative is hereby authorized and directed to
execute all appropriate agreements and contracts necessary to expedite the construction of this city
project.
SECTION 3. The City pledges its full support and hereby authorizes the Arkansas State highway and
Transportation Department to initiate action to implement this project.
SECTION 4. This project was selected by Metroplan as a Transportation Improvement Project.
