RESOLUTION NO. 11.008
A RESOLUTION TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK. RES.
NO. 10,660 (OCTOBER 5, 1999), TO AUTHORIZE T14E
EXPENDITURE OF ADDITIONAL FUNDS BY THE
CENTRAL ARKANSAS TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
( "CATA ") FOR ADDITIONAL TRANSPORTATION
COORDINATION SERVICES: AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Central Arkansas Transit Authority ( "CATA ") was awarded
a Welfare -to -Work subcontract in an amount not to exceed $38,320 in Little Rock, Ark.
Res. No. 10,660 (October 5, 1999) and
WHEREAS, CATA agreed, at the request of the City, to increase the types of
services provided, thereby incurring an additional contract cost of $4,680.65; and
WHEREAS, payment in excess of the contract amount authorized in Little
Rock, Ark. Res. No. 10,660 requires authorization and and approval by the Board of
Directors.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The additional cost of $4,680.65 incurred by CATA at the request
of the City is hereby authorized, and the work ratified and approved. Section 1 of
Little Rock, Ark. Res. No. 10,660 (October 5, 1999) is amended to increase the sum
payable to CATA, for Welfare to Work Transportation Coordination services, from
$38,320 to $43,000.65, for additional work performed at the request of the City.
