3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A CONTRACT wrTH CRUSE
4 UNIFORMS FOR THE PURCHASE OF UNIFORMS FOR THE Ln1'LE
5 ROCK Ram DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, after a competitive bid procedure it was determined that Cruse Uniforms
8 submitted the lowest responsible and responsive bid on the cost of uniform items to be
9 purchased during fiscal year 2001,
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
11 DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
12 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a purchase agreement with
13 Cruse Uniforms to famish necessary uniform items to the Little Rock Fire Department during
14 fiscal year 2001 pursuant to the response provided by Cruse to the City's bid specifications.
15 Section 2. Severability. In the event any ride, section, item, sentence, clause,
16 phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
17 declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall
18 remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or
19 unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
20 Section 3. Repealer. , All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that
21 are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such
22 inconsistency.
