1 RESOLUTION NO. 10,931 -A
2 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE PURCHASE OF A 12.5 -TON
3 TELESCOPING CRANE TRUCK FROM STERLING TRUCKS OF
4 ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
5 WHEREAS, after a competitive bid process it was determined that Sterling Trucks of
6 Arkansas submitted the lowest responsible and responsive bid for a 10 -ton telescoping crane
7 truck that was actually rated as a 12.5 -ton truck,
s NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
9 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
10 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to purchase one 12.5 -ton telescoping crane
11 truck from Sterling Trucks of Arkansas for an amount not to exceed ninety-seven thousand nine
12 hundred and forty -two dollars ($97,942.00).
13 Section 2. Funds for this purchase are available in Account No. 600- 360 - 6020 -6021-
14 7060 -(10).
15 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
16 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
17 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the
18 resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged
19 invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
20 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are
21 inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such
22 inconsistency.
