A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO SUBMIT THE 2001 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN FOR
CDBG, HOME AND ESG ENTITLEMENTS TO THE
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN
DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the 2001 Action Plan was developed with extensive citizen participation
including neighborhood meetings within each ward; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was conducted May 2, 2000, on the projected use of
funding to receive additional comments and the Annual Update has undergone the required 30\
day comment period giving the public every opportunity to review and comment on the contents
of the 2001 Action Plan; and
WHEREAS, the 2001 Action Plan includes the applications for funding of the City's
CDBG, HOME, and ESG entitlements which is a requirement to fund the 2001 Program Year
effective January 1, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to submit the 2001 Action Plan to the
Department of Housing and Urban Development.
SECTION 2. The projected use of funds were approved by adoption of Little Rock,
Ark., Resolution No. 10,813 (May 2, 2000)
