A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
WITH GENE SUMMERS CONSTRUCTION IN
THE AMOUNT OF $851,985 FOR 36'" STREET
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, A 1998 REVENUE
BOND PROJECT.
WHEREAS, this program was selected as a 1998 Revenue Bond Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. City Manager is hereby authorized to accept bids and award a contract to Gene
Summers Construction, lowest bid meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed $851,985
($774,532 plus 10% contingency) for 36'h Street Improvement Project.
SECTION 2. Funding for this project is available from account 304 -220 -A 133.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
