A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT TO MANAGE CERTAIN
SOCCER FACILITIES WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK.
WHEREAS, Little Rock Parks and Recreation recently solicited proposals to
lease /manage Murray Park Soccer Field(s) and Otter Creek Soccer Fields, and
WHEREAS, this action will increase and enhance routine maintenance to these
facilities and improve the overall condition of these parks, and
WHEREAS, this action will provide the necessary resources to Little Rock Parks
and Recreation to continue developing Otter Creek Soccer Park, and
WHEREAS, this action will allow Little Rock Parks and, Recreation the
opportunity to better address the overall needs of the soccer community through a
proactive partnership.
NOW, THERFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LITTLE ROCK CITY BOARD
OF DIRECTORS:
SECTION 1: The City of Little Rock Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City
Manager to enter into a contract with Riverdale Soccer Association to lease Murray Park
Soccer Fields and Otter Creek Soccer Fields.
SECTION 2: Little Rock Parks and Recreation will work with Riverdale Soccer
Association to develop an implementation plan for future improvements at both parks.
