RESOLUTION NO. 10,865
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR
METHAMPHETAMINE TREATMENT SERVICES TO RECOVERY
CENTERS OF ARKANSAS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$48,024, SUBJECT TO NEGOTIATION BY THE CITY ATTORNEY;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, The Little Rock Police Department has been awarded a $50,000 federal grant
for methamphetamine treatment services; and
WHEREAS, a competitive bid for methamphetamine treatment services was issued (Bid No.
00- 00242R) and Recovery Centers of Arkansas was the only bidder; and
WHEREAS, a review committee reviewed the response of Recovery Centers of Arkansas
to the bid and determined that they were a responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign a contract with Recovery
Centers of Arkansas for methamphetamine treatment services in an amount not to exceed $48,024,
19 subject to successful contract negotiation by the City Attorney. The contract is payable from federal
20 funds for methamphetamine treatment services in account no. 210 - 350 -A255 -6081.
