A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING
ON AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
OF 8.64 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, ADJACENT TO THE
RANCH SUBDIVISION (THE "SULLIVAN" PROPERTY ".)
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Little Rock Board of Directors on the 13`h
day of July 2000, asking the Board to pass an ordinance accepting the annexation of
certain lands to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as described in the petition, a copy of
which is attached as Exhibit "A ".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held at the meeting of the Little Rock
Board of Directors at 6 p.m. on the I" day of August 2000.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is herby directed to give notice of such hearing in the
manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the
City of Little Rock.

PETITION BY ADJOINING LAND OWNERS TO ACCEPT
ANNEXATION, PURSUANT
TO A.C.A. §14 -40 -601 et. seq.,
Comes now the Petitioner, Estate of Patrick Henry Sullivan, deceased, by and
through its Executrix, Thelma I. Sullivan, and by and through the Estate's attorney, Judy
McNeil, and for its Petition to Accept the Annexation of certain lands hereinafter
described to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, avers and states as hereinafter set forth:
1. That the Petitioner did file in the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas its Petition For Annexation of the following described lands, to -wit:
Part of the El /3 of the NWl /4, Section 14, Township 2 North, Range 14
West, Pulaski County Arkansas more particularly described as:
Starting at the Northeast Comer of said NWl /4; thence West along the
North line of said NWl /4, 50.15 ft.; thence South along the west right -of-
way line of Patrick Country Road, 1270.34 ft. to the point of beginning;
thence S03 °11'35 "W and continuing along said West right -of -way line,
966.63 ft.; thence N86 °51'18 "W, 388.62 ft.; thence NO2 °51'17 "E, 127.53

ft.; thence NO3 °08'47 "E, 839.29 ft.; thence 586. °49'40 "E, 390.06 ft. to the
point of beginning; containing 8.6468 acres more or less; Together with
that portion of Patrick Country Road adjacent thereto.
2. That a true and correct copy of the Petition For Annexation is attached
hereto marked as Exhibit "A" and the same is by this reference fully incorporated herein.
3. That Notice of Hearing that the Petition For Annexation would be heard
by the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas. on the 17th day of May, 2000 was
published in the Arkansas Democrat - Gazette in the mamier and for the time period
prescribed by law, all as evidenced that certain Proof of Publication attached hereto
marked as Exhibit "B" and made a part hereof as if set forth hereinafter word for word.
4. That the County Judge, sitting as the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas, did on May 17, 2000 enter an Order Approving Annexation wherein the
County Court did find that the Petitioner is the fee simple absolute owner of the above
described real property and represented a majority of the total number of real estate
owners in area and in number of owners thereof; that said real property is contiguous to
and adjoining an established boundary of the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas and approving the annexation of the above described real property to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas.

of May, 2000 and the said Order Number 00 -165 was recorded in Book 2000 at Page
266 -267 in the Office of the County Clerk Pulaski County, Arkansas as required by law
and a true and correct copy of said Order Approving Annexation is attached hereto
marked as Exhibit "C" and by this reference same is fully incorporated herein.

WHEREFORE, Petitioner prays that the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas adopt an Ordinance Accepting the Annexation of the above _described
real property into and as a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
