2 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A CONTRACT WITH F &F
3 SUPPLY TO PROVIDE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING TO THE
4 LITTLE ROCK FIRE DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER
5 PURPOSES.
6 WHEREAS, the City issued requests for proposal to provide protective clothing for the Little
7 Rock Fire Department on an annual contract basis, and
8 WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bid was submitted by F &F Supply Co. of
9 Oden, Arkansas,
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
11 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
12 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with F &F Supply Co. of
13 Oden, Arkansas, to provide protective clothing to the Little Rock Fire Department for a one year period
14 at the rate of $836.00 per set of tum -out clothing in an amount not to exceed ninety thousand four
15 hundred and sixty nine dollars ($90,469), and further authorizes the City Manager to extend this one year
16 agreement for an additional one year if funds are available and such extension is mutually acceptable to
17 the City and F &F Supply Co.
18 Section 2. Funds for this contract are available in Account No. 100 - 340 - 4200 -2020.
19 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, subtitle, chapter, subchapter, section, subsection,
20 subdivision, paragraph, subparagraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is
21 declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect
22 the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
23 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the resolution.
24 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are
25 inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
