HomeMy WebLinkAbout108271 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 0 0 RESOLUTION 10,827 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS WITH ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO WELFARE TO WORK ELIGIBLE CLIENTS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock was awarded a $5,000,000 grant from the United States Department of Labor to provide Welfare to Work services to Pulaski County residents; and, WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock issued a Request for Proposals to solicit educational and occupational skills training services to assist Welfare to Work eligible clients; and, WHEREAS, after reviewing the proposals of responding agencies the following agencies were selected to provide designated services; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into contract negotiations with the following providers for the City's Welfare to Work program: 1. CDL Training and Testing, Inc., (Bid #00 -247) for an amount not to exceed $73,500; 2. Career Development and Training (Bid #00 -247) for an amount not to exceed $162,490; 3. Our House, Inc., (Bid #00 -247) for an amount not to exceed $132,350; 4.
