RESOLUTION NO. 101782
A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS AND
REAPPOINTMENTS TO THE ARKANSAS ARTS
CENTER BOARD OF TRUSTEES, BOARD OF
ADJUSTMENT, CONSTRUCTION BOARD OF
ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS, HOUSING BOARD OF
ADJUSTMENT AND APPEALS, MACARTHUR
MILITARY HISTORY MUSEUM COMMISSION, RACIAL
& CULTURAL DIVERSITY COMMISSION, AND THE
ZOO BOARD OF GOVERNORS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following named persons are hereby appointed or
reappointed as members of the respective Boards and Commissions:
(a) ARKANSAS ARTS CENTER BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Ms. Cynthia Brinkley, appointed to fill the unexpired term of Mr. Brian Foster
expiring June 30, 2000, and to serve a four year term expiring June 30, 2004.
(b) BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
Mr. Gary Langlais (Architect Planner), reappointed to serve a three year term
expiring February 4, 2003.
(c) CONSTRUCTION BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND APPEALS
Mr. Emery Crossland, reappointed to serve a four year term expiring January 5,
2004.
Mr. James W. Mitchell, reappointed to serve a four year term expiring January 5,
2004.
(d) HOUSING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS
Mr. Gary Westenhiser appointed to serve a four year term expiring August 1,
2003.

(e) MACARTHUR MILITARY HISTORY MUSEUM COMMISSION
Ms. Joa Humphrey, reappointed (third term) to serve a two year term, expiring
February 21, 2002.
Mr. Larry Garner, reappointed to serve a two year term expiring February 21,
2002.
Mr. Joseph Kaufinan, reappointed to serve a two year term expiring February 21,
2002.
Mr. Joe Bell, appointed to serve a two year term replacing Mr. Gene Hooks, said
term expiring February 21, 2002.
Mr. W. Turner Harris, appointed to serve a two year term replacing Mr. J.K.
Sherman, said term expiring February 21, 2002.
(� RACIAL & CULTURAL DIVERSITY COMMISSION
Ms. Loretta Alexander (Ward 7), reappointed to serve a three year term, expiring
March 3, 2003.
Ms. Carolyn Palmer (Ward 6), reappointed to serve a three year term, expiring
March 3, 2003.
(g) ZOO BOARD OF GOVERNORS
Ms. Felicia Hobbs, reappointed to serve a three year term expiring February 16,
2002.
Mr. Stacy Williams, reappointed to serve a three year term expiring Februaary 16,
2002.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
