2 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A CONTRACT
3 WITH LANDERS FORD TO PURCHASE 14 PURSUIT
4 SEDANS FROM THE STATE CONTRACT FOR THE
s POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS; AND FOR
6 OTHER PURPOSES.
7 WHEREAS, the City police department has a need for 13 full-sized police pursuit
s sedans,and
9 WHEREAS, the City fire department has a need for on full-sized pursuit sedan,
10 and
11 WHEREAS, the State Contract with Landers Ford makes it possible for the City
12 to purchase these 14 sedans for a total price of $286,695.00,
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
14 DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contact with Landers
16 Ford, pursuant to the State Contract, in an amount not to exceed two hundred and
17 eight -six thousand, six hundred and ninety-five dollars ($286,695.00) to purchase 14
18 emergency pursuit sedans, 13 for the police department and one for the fire department.
19 Section 2. Funds for these purchases are available from Account No. 600 -360-
20 6020 - 6021 - 7060 -10.
