3 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
4 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, CERTIFYING LOCAL
5 GOVERNMENT ENDORSEMENT OF SOUTHWESTERN BELL
6 WIRELESS, INC. TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ADVANTAGE
7
ARKANSAS PROGRAM.

10 WHEREAS, the local government must endorse a business or enterprise to
11 participate in the Advantage Arkansas Program and benefit from the exemptions as
12 provided in the Advantage Arkansas Program Regulations of 1993 (formerly the
13
14 Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program); and
15 WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made on specific forms available from
16 AIDC; and
17 WHEREAS, Southwestern Bell Wireless, Inc. , located at 17,000 Cantrell Road,
18 has been determined by the management of the Advantage Arkansas Program as an
19
20 appropriate applicant; and
21 WHEREAS, Southwestern Bell Wireless, Inc. has agreed to furnish to
22 management of the Advantage Arkansas Program all necessary information for
23 compliance.
24 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED. BY THE BOARD OF
25 DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

27 SECTION 1 -A. Southwestern Bell Wireless, Inc. shall be endorsed by the City
28 of Little Rock for benefit from the refunds and tax credits as provided in the Advantage
29 Arkansas Program Regulations of 1993, through June 30, 1999, including any local City
30 gross receipts and compensating use taxes.
31 SECTION 1 -B. The Department of Finance and Administration shall be
32
33 authorized to refund local sales and use taxes to Southwestern Bell Wireless, Inc.
34 SECTION 2. The Mayor is authorized to sign the required Certificate of Local
35 Government Endorsement.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect and be in full force from and after
its adoption and approval.
