/3 AN RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A CONTRACT
4 WITH THE PULASKI ENTERPRISE COMMUNITY
s ALLIANCE, INC., TO PROVIDE ADMINISTRATIVE
6 AND OVERSIGHT SERVICES, TO PROMOTE
7 REBUILD ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS, AND TO
8 COORDINATE WITH THE DIASASTER AREA
9 REBUILD COUNCIL; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, as a result of the January 21, 1999, tornado, there are numerous
12 needs for rebuilding projects and activities in the area devastated by the tornado, and
13 WHEREAS, the City is coordinating with the Diasaster Area Rebuild Council
14 to promote these projects and activities, and
Is WHEREAS, the City's involvement needs an entity that can provide
16 administrative and oversight services, and
17 WHEREAS, after a competitive selection process that resulted in three separate
18 proposals, it was concluded that the Pulaski Enterprise Community Alliance, Inc., had
19 the best proposal,
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
21 DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
22 Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with the
23 Pulaski Enterprise Community Alliance, Inc., in an amount not to exceed one hundred
24 and forty nine thousand, seven hundred and ninety eight dollars ($149,798.00) to
25 provide administrative, oversight, and promotion services for rebuilding projects and
26 activities in the area devastated by the January 21, 1999, tornado, and to coordinate
27 with the Disaster Area Rebuild Council.
28 Section 2. Funds for this contract have been set aside in special project account
29 code authorized in Account No. P93- 210- 030 -A390.
