HomeMy WebLinkAbout107510 0 RESOLUTION NO. 10,751 A RESOLUTION RESCINDING THE LITTLE ROCK PLANNING COMMISSION'S ACTION IN DENYING A VARIANCE FROM THE ZONING ORDINANCE FULL STREET BUFFER REQUIREMENTS ASSOCIATED WITH A SITE PLAN REVIEW FOR A PARKING LOT FOR ARKANSAS CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF WEST 8 T AND MARSHALL STREETS. (Z- 6760 -A) WHEREAS, an application was filed, by Arkansas Children's Hospital, with the Little Rock Planning Commission for a site plan review to allow construction of a parking lot at the southeast corner of West 8th and Marshall Streets, with a requested variance from the zoning ordinance full buffer requirement along West 8th, Marshall and Bishop Streets; and, WHEREAS, the Little Rock Planning Commission, at its November 11, 1999 meeting, approved the site plan with certain conditions and denied the variance request; and, WHEREAS, the Little Rock Board of Directors has determined the action to be inappropriate. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. The action of the Little Rock Planning Commission in denying the variance request from the Zoning Ordinance full street buffer requirement along West 8th, Marshall and Bishop Streets, associated with the parking lot site plan for Arkansas Children's Hospital (southeast corner of West 8th and Marshall Streets), is hereby rescinded. SECTION 2. Said variance request is hereby approved. SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
